What aspect ratio for social media?
16:9 horizontal (YouTube, presentations). 1:1 square (Instagram feed). 9:16 vertical (Reels, TikTok, Stories). 4:5 (Instagram portrait, often best engagement).
Does this preserve pixel quality?
It just computes dimensions; actually resizing an image is your editor's job. Avoid upscaling — start with the largest needed and scale down.
Why is 21:9 called "ultra-wide"?
Cinema standard. Streamers and gamers like it for immersive widescreen content. 32:9 (super-wide) also exists for dual-monitor setups.
