How accurate is the due date?
Only ~5% of births happen on the exact date. About 80% fall within 2 weeks before or after.
What are the trimesters?
1st: weeks 1-12. 2nd: 13-26. 3rd: 27-birth. Often the most common reference is the gestational week.
Should I rely on this?
No — use this only as a quick estimate. A dating ultrasound (especially in 1st trimester) is the gold standard for accurate dating.
